Riddiford Neurology now offers private consultations and testing closer to home for Northland patients. Starting 31 January 2025, Riddiford Neurology will be offering private neurology consultations and a comprehensive neurophysiology service at the Southern Cross Northland Surgical Centre in Whangārei, including the following tests:
- Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Electroencephalogram (EEG)

We can create a detailed treatment plan and provide recommendations for ongoing care with your local healthcare provider, however as a visiting consulting service, we are unable to serve as the primary provider for patients needing long-term neurological care.
Referrals for consultation or neurophysiology can be made through your doctor or specialist to the Southern Cross Northland Surgical Centre. The team at Southern Cross Northland Surgical Centre will pass on your referral to Riddiford Neurology who will contact you directly to make a booking.
